Her background prior to establishing her company was as a researcher who applied field sensor networks to solve problems in agriculture, environment and disasters in several countries.
Rassarin has a Ph.D. in engineering from Japan specializing in applying API platform design to agronomic models.

It was during her research where Rassarin realized a huge gap between scientific research and agricultural outcomes. Thus, she decided to bridge this chasm.

ListenField has been providing its interoperable agro-environmental platform for serving agriculture reform schemes and has obtained a patent in Japan.
