Introducing
California born and bred, Kassia Meador is a former pro-surfer and sponsored pro long-boarder. Not only that, she was one of the best in the world ranked second at one point by the WSL women’s longboard world tour.
Over the past 26 years she has been known world-wide for her graceful surf style and was crowned the “queen of nose-riding” by the New York Times.
Entrepreneurial Activity
In 2015 she launched KASSIA+SURF, a wetsuit brand by women for women.
Her designs are rooted in authenticity gained through her direct experience pushing the limits of women’s surf culture, lifestyle, and design.
The results of her entrepreneurial activities have amounted to coverage by the likes of Vogue, Yahoo Style, Elle, The Wall Street Journal and 1% for the Planet.
Advancing Surf Culture
Finally, over the past 7 years Kassia has also been dedicated to paying it forward by creating a series of Learn to Surf Videos with The Inertia’s Inspire courses and hosting surf retreats worldwide.
