Introducing

Lindsey DeWitt Prat is a senior UX (user experience) Researcher and global project lead at Bold Insight, a full-service UX and human factors research agency based in Chicago (and extending via its ReSight Global family to the UK, Germany, Switzerland, Japan, China, Singapore, and India).

An inveterate world traveler and dot connector, Lindsey has lived and worked in 5 countries and explored countless more. She now calls Paris home.

Past Academic Pursuits

Before leaving academia to pursue a career in UX, Lindsey researched and taught at top universities in the US, Japan, and Europe.

Her work focused on the nexus of religion, culture, and gender—she’s the leading expert on women’s exclusion from sacred sites (including several UNESCO World Heritage Sites) in Japan!

Professional Activities

Lindsey holds a PhD in Asian Languages & Cultures from UCLA, among other degrees, and applies her 10+ years of research and teaching experience to create valuable user experiences for global companies.

An accomplished speaker and writer, she draws on her passion for language, culture, and cross-cultural communication to lead and manage global UX research engagements for Bold Insight / ReSight Global.
