Shannon Flynn is a four-time Emmy Award-winning director. She works for a wide variety of studios, including AppleTV, Netflix, HBO/HBOMax, Amazon, Disney Channel and Nickelodeon. 

Industry Acclaim and Experience

Having directed more than 400 episodes (including 3 movies and 4 series), Shannon recently helmed the entire first season of Blippi’s Treehouse for Amazon, Michelle Obama’s Waffles and Mochi for Netflix and the pilot for Puppy Place on AppleTV. 

Formative Experiences

Shannon began her career mentored by director Lee Shallat Chemel on such hit series Gilmore GirlsBernie Mac and Arrested Development.

Most recently, she worked on the 55th season of Sesame Street for which she won her Emmys.

Shannon has a Masters in Fine Arts in Directing from the prestigious Yale School of Drama.
